Gallaher delivers value through offering work-arounds to limit installation disruptions

We work with clients from the start

A life safety and asset protection system is a key investment for your company. It can keep your employees safe and protect your property and inventory.

The idea of technicians installing myriad security features as your employees go about their daily business can seem like a daunting and disruptive proposition. Fear not. Gallaher technicians are experts that deliver additional value by working around your workday.

We can accommodate our installations based on the scope of work to limit disruptions to your facility and employees. If there are certain times noise must be limited, we will certainly oblige.

Some work has an obvious need to be completed after-hours. We can avoid testing a fire alarm multiple times during a workday, and some of the work we do is just plain loud, there’s no doubt about it. If an access-control project means we have to cut into a door, there’s no way to really be subtle about it. After-hours work means zero disruption time. But if a client can tolerate occasional drilling or relatively quiet wire-pulling, then we can accommodate that need during regular working hours.

We can also schedule work at specific times in a limited window. We installed surveillance cameras for a manufacturing company to monitor their equipment. The routine maintenance window was very narrow, and we were able to coordinate and accomplish the installation in a very short period of time to eliminate loss of production.

Different clients and facilities require different kinds of workarounds. If we are working in a restaurant, we don’t want to be moving ceiling tiles above prep or cooking areas while in use. We can, however, spend the day working in a manager’s office and then move out to the kitchen or front of the house when the restaurant closes.

We install a lot of asset-protection and life-safety features in hospitals and medical facilities, too. Again, accommodation is the name of the game. If we have to wait for a patient to leave a room, we will do so. We also have strict dust-control and indoor air-quality protocols we follow depending on the client. This protects sensitive electronics and medical equipment.

The time it takes us to complete a project is dictated by the scope of the project and type of facility. We can knock out some projects in a day or spend months working in a building under construction.

Whatever your life safety or asset control needs, rest assured we will accommodate you every step of the way to limit disruptions to your business. We will work with you on workarounds.
