FIRE AND BDA SYSTEMS
Protecting People Through Technology
What Matters Most
Across the United States, a fire occurs every 90 seconds. It can take approximately 8 minutes for firefighters to arrive at the scene of a fire. Additionally, when Life Safety equipment is tampered with, a fire can become life threatening in just 2 minutes. At Gallaher, we take life safety and commercial fire alarm systems seriously.

NOTIFER® BY HONEYWELL
THE NEW STANDARD IN LIFE SAFETY
CONNECTED LIFE SAFETY SERVICES (CLSS)
Complete connectivity, providing a quick and accurate alarm transmission, a signal you can trust via a 5G communicator, ability to store digital inspection reports in the secure cloud for AHJ or insurance company review, and ultimately less downtime and disruption from system visibility and quick issue resolution
SELF-TEST SERIES DETECTORS
UL-approved Self-Test Series detectors automatically perform maintenance tests for smoke and heat detection without using canned smoke or heat guns when used with a compatible fire alarm control panel and supporting self test App. The Self-Test process meets the three core NFPA requirements for detector maintenance: functional test, smoke entry test, and ability to verify a visual inspection has taken place.
THE RIGHT SOLUTION
800+ years of experience ensures the sales and project teams consider what is truly needed and also what will provide many years of return on investment
ENGINEERING DESIGN
Gallaher has a dedicated Engineering team that will fully spec, estimate, position, and submit all AHJ approvals and other requirements
INSTALLATION
Once Engineering has finished, the project is formally handed off to a dedicated Project Manager and Installation Team. The project is managed and monitored from kickoff to completion
SERVICE & SUPPORT
After all project deliverables have been met, service and support continue under warranty or under other service contracts such as monitoring, maintenance, and inspection and testing services
COMMERCIAL AND HI-RISE BUILDING COMMUNICATIONS
In many cases, buildings have dead spots where the signal strength for two-radios is not strong enough, which can cause delays and miscommunication when seconds count. This can occur due to building materials, architectural design, or simply the geographic location of the building.
FIRE MARSHALS OFTEN REQUIRE EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS FOR NEW COMMERCIAL MULTI-STORY CONSTRUCTION
Offers Great Value
Enhanced Communication
A bi-directional amplification (BDA) or emergency radio communications enhancement system (ERCES), offers great value and peace of mind for commercial building owners and occupants.
-
Provides enhanced radio coverage within a multi-story building
-
Ensures emergency responders can stay in communication with each other
Maintains State & Federal Compliance
-
Is increasingly mandated by state and local fire codes
-
Should be installed by certified technicians
Provides Peace of Mind
Provides peace of mind with complete cellular coverage when an emergency arises
BDA Services
CERTIFIED INSTALLERS TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE AND MAXIMUM VALUE
Local, State, and Federal regulations now require enhanced communication systems in new commercial construction.
Existing commercial buildings can be retrofitted and certified to meet new code standards.
Paramount to all commercial building owners and tenants is to ensure occupants are safe in the event of an emergency.
When first responders can communicate effectivity as they enter the building, they can better act on an emergency and minimize damage and an effective BDA system can offer reduced liability.
