In our line of work, challenges are most commonly linked to product or technical variables, however the dynamics surrounding the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic brings both fluid and unforeseeable implications.

As our company’s Vision Statement emphasizes, we exist “To help our clients and the communities we serve live safer and more enjoyable lives”, meaning that we regard our life safety-related services as a vital component of a safe, functional society. Our commitment to you, our customer, is that we will make every effort to provide excellent and timely service in as far as the health of our employees and the official guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other health officials allow for us to provide. Where possible, we will make every effort to be flexible to best serve your interests as our customer.

Preparedness

As the situation surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, we are prepared to respond and will make every effort to take proactive measures, where possible, to avoid any inability to service you to the level our reputation has earned. These measures include communications with suppliers to minimize supply chain delays and increased communication with our primary customer contacts to work to minimize service and/or manpower delays due to illness.

Our ongoing steps to prevent the spread of disease and promote safety include the following:
All Gallaher employees have been educated on preventative measures such as frequent hand washing and cleaning contacted surfaces while at your place of work
In customer workplaces, our employees have been directed to become familiar with customer-related requirements and nuances
Employees with symptoms have been instructed to follow physician instructions and remain at home

Please note that our efforts include equipping our employees with sanitizing supplies, however supply scarcity has become a prevailing challenge. As we will gladly share with trades that enter Gallaher facilities, we respectfully ask that your organization also freely share your supplies with our team in their quest to keep your team safe.

Pandemic Implications

As always, we commit to making ongoing efforts to avoid or minimize any disruption to our ability to provide and perform services. Though we do not envision circumstances such as product delivery delays or a labor challenges due to illness or external mandates, the possibility of such delays exist.

  • Increased Coordination and Flexibility: To serve you during these uncertain times, we will make every effort to facilitate increased coordination and flexibility with customers who employ or provide care for people that are most vulnerable to infectious disease.
  • Priority of Services: We will continue in our quest to serve every customer in a timely fashion regardless of the type of solution or services provided, however when forced to prioritize, Gallaher’s commitment to life safety-related services must come first.
  • Special Requests: In circumstances where special requirements above and beyond Gallaher’s current scope is requested, like in cases where preventative/preparedness training sessions are required for field technicians or when additional protective gear is required, these expenses will be passed on as a change in our contracted scope.
